Four Distinct Ballrooms, One Exceptional Venue

Four Distinct Ballrooms

Ask ten couples why they booked their wedding with us, and you will hear ten different stories, but almost every one of them starts in the same place: the room. We have been part of weddings in Cinnaminson for over 60 years, and in that time we have learned that couples do not fall in love with a date on a calendar. They fall in love with a space that already looks and feels like their day before a single centerpiece is set down.

The Merion offers four distinct ballrooms, each designed for a different style and guest count: the bold Palazzo, light-filled Skylight, romantic Palace, and city-style Empire, ranging from 200 to 550 guests. Couples can choose the room that matches their vision, with all-inclusive catering and event planning support included throughout.

That is really the story behind our four ballrooms at The Merion. Each one was designed with a different couple in mind, so instead of asking every bride and groom to fit one look, we built four.

Four Ballrooms at The Merion: Why NJ Couples Choose Us Again and Again

We do not believe one ballroom can serve every couple, so we built four. Each of our ballrooms carries its own scale, light, and color story, which means your wedding starts from a room that already fits your vision. Take a look at our wedding ballrooms and see which one feels like yours.

A Guest List That Actually Fits the Room

One of the most common questions we hear on a tour at The Merion is whether your full guest list will fit comfortably. Our Palazzo Ballroom welcomes 200 to 550 guests, while our Skylight and Palace Ballrooms each welcome up to 250 guests. Our Empire Ballroom accommodates up to 300 guests as well. With four different capacities to choose from, we can help you plan around your actual guest count instead of adjusting it to match the room.

Palazzo Ballroom for Big, Bold Celebrations

If you are planning a larger wedding, our Palazzo Ballroom sets a bold tone from the moment your guests arrive. The room features a signature hourglass marble dance floor, nine radiant crystal chandeliers, and 20-foot ceilings. You and your guests will also enjoy a private cocktail room and an exclusive outdoor patio, adding another layer to your celebration.

Skylight Ballroom for Natural Light Over the Dance Floor

If you want your reception to feel bright and open, our Skylight Ballroom is worth a look. A magnificent glass dome sits directly over the dance floor, bathing the room in natural daylight while the sun is up. Once evening sets in, that same dome lets the room sparkle under the stars, giving your celebration a different feel from afternoon into night.

Palace Ballroom for Warm, Romantic Tones

Our Palace Ballroom and South Patio bring a softer, more timeless feel to your celebration. Sparkling gold chandeliers and an elegant ivory and gold palette set the tone throughout the room, and a private outdoor patio gives you and your guests additional space to enjoy over the course of the evening.

Empire Ballroom for a City Style Reception

Our Empire Ballroom is the newest ballroom here at The Merion, thoughtfully renovated to reflect an upscale city feel. The room is draped in romantic linen and lit by a dazzling crystal chandelier. You will also have a top-shelf open bar, a deluxe bridal suite, and an exclusive groomsmen suite with entertainment, all included as part of the space.

Come See Which Ballroom Feels Like Yours

Photos only tell you so much about a room. If you are trying to picture your wedding day inside our Palazzo, Skylight, Palace, or Empire Ballroom, we would rather show you in person than describe it further here. Take our virtual tour, fill out the form for our Wedding Pricing Guide, or contact us directly at (856) 829-2111, and let’s find the ballroom that fits the wedding you are picturing.
